BenQ has announced the launch of its new monitor PV3200PT within its professional range , equipped with a panel of matrix IPS 32 – inch 4K resolution designed specifically for professional video editing .
The professional video editing and image require monitors with high resolution in order to have a full size image onto the screen and open space for the tools they need to use (if we need to edit a full HD movie on a screen of this resolution, we will have to scale it to make room for the editing tools), and also require the best color accuracy and, in the case of those who edit videos, a low response time.
All these premises are those BenQ meets his new PV3200PT. Equip an IPS panel 32 inches that provides a native resolution Ultra HD (advertised as 4K but is actually 3840 x 2160 pixels) relative real contrast 1000-1 (dynamic contrast ratio of 20M to 1), brightness of 350 cd / m2 and a response time of only 5 ms GtG with the usual viewing angles of 178 degrees from all IPS panels. According to the manufacturer the panel comes factory calibrated hardware and is able to reproduce 100% sRGB color spectrum and spacing Rec. 709, meeting the most stringent demands.
It also has a base that allows the monitor color, literally in the position we want, highlighting an axis of rotation at the base that can display the content that are working to mate next in total comfort. This axis is also a wheel control OSD monitor, being much more handy than the usual controls within the device itself.
In the area of connectivity, the BenQ 32-inch PV3200PT HDMI 1.4 incorporates an entrance, a DisplayPort and mini DisplayPort, admitting clear the connection of multiple video sources simultaneously.
By the time the manufacturer has not said how much it will cost, but we can expect it to be quite expensive. It will hit stores in theory, from the end of this March.
