has announced the launch of one of the NAS most powerful in its catalog, the TS-531P five bays notable for the inclusion of a powerful Annapurna Alpine AL-314 quad-core low-power operating at 1.4 GHz low ARM architecture, along with 2 GB of DDR3 RAM (expandable to 8 GB) to ensure optimum performance under any circumstances. The QNAP TS-531P has support for RAID 0,1,5,6 configurations and combinations thereof, with SSD caching support hardware accelerated. Also it has four Gigabit LAN ports, but you can also install an expansion card 10GbE for maximum network performance. Of course the five bays are hot-swappable and allow hot disk change if necessary.
