Oukitel K10000, the more battery phablet market

Oukitel K10000 review specs
Previously we have spoken of Oukitel K10000, a terminal that lives up to its name because its 10,000 mAh battery stands out as the largest capacity in the market. Now, this amazing phablet particularly suitable for the more "addicted" is available at a price that makes it the most desirable, below 200 euros. Read Doogee F5 review which is a flagship android phone with price of budget phone.

Oukitel K10000 android review

The Oukitel K10000 is a terminal that makes us remember those times where there were no smartphones and mobile phones were just phones with batteries that lasted a week without problem peacefully, just being a smartphone. With its huge battery according to the manufacturer we can use the terminal for 15 days with normal use, a week if we give intensive use. But it does not end here, as the K10000 includes the power to portable battery and can connect other devices to it to recharge. Microsoft Lumia 535 review, a budget windows phone.
Oukitel K10000 review

Regarding the hardware this is a rather phablet midrange, as its SoC MediaTek MTK6735 quad-core 64-bit operating at 1 GHz is designed for low power consumption, but still giving the device a fairly decent performance. The SoC with ARM Mali T720 GPU, is accompanied by 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage, expandable up in recent additional 32 GB using a memory card micro SD format.
Oukitel K10000 reviews

We advance before the Oukitel K10000 is a phablet, which means that your screen has a diagonal of 5.5 inches. It has HD resolution (1280 x 720 pixels) with IPS panel, another element that will work to conserve battery power when the terminal and provide greater autonomy. Regarding the cameras we find something unusual, because the front is 2 Megapixel software but rescaled by a 5 Megapixel, while the rear 8MP source, scale to 13 Megapixel.

With regard to connectivity, we must mention that this is a 4G phablet, so it is compatible with 2G / 3G / 4G LTE networks that will work with any Spanish operator (logically is a free phone). It also incorporates connectivity WiFi 802.11 b / g // n the usual Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, accelerometer, gyroscope and others.

Finally, it notes that a terminal with this screen size and battery capacity is not exactly small, and the Oukitel K10000 weighs 184 grams and has dimensions of 15.7 x 7.5 x 1.4 centimeters, thereby being quite thicker what today is already common in a terminal like this. But of course, having such a battery must have some disadvantage, right?

I said at the beginning that could be purchased the Oukitel K10000 for less than 200 euros.

Best way to convert video for your laptop and smartphone

There are myriad video converters available in the market. Almost all converters we have tested so far lack a feature or two – except for the Movavi video converter. Available for both Mac and Windows, this video converter can prepare your multimedia files into your desired format within minutes. Also it is 100 percent Windows 10 compatible so if you have just bought a new laptop or installed the latest version of Microsoft’s operating system on your computer, you don’t have to worry about any compatibility issues.

Movavi video converter

One of main reasons why we chose the Movavi video converter to convert video is how super easy it is to use. Just install it from the official Movavi website and follow the onscreen instructions to install it. Then fire up the app and drag the file you want to convert.

Since the Movavi video converter supports batch file conversion, feel free to add multiple files. You can not only add video, but add video, images and DVD files.

After adding files, you will need to specify the output format. If you are converting for computer playback, it is suggested to keep the one with high bitrate as you are not likely to suffer from storage issues. But if you have a computer with low storage or you’re converting for smartphone use, then it is advisable to choose low bitrate video format such as H.264 or MP4. This will keep the file size small too.

If you do not have knowledge of video formats, no need to worry as Movavi video converter comes preloaded with over 200 presents with ideal bitrate and formats. You can also do some basic editing which makes life of non-professional users easier. You can carry out tasks like trimming, cropping, rotating and enhancing the images by clicking few buttons.

There is another very nifty picture that lets you import DVD disks and convert them into files that can be locally played back. So you can convert them into, let’s say MP4 format and play them back on your laptop or even devices like android or iPhones.

Movavi video converter has something called super speed mode that lets you speed up the conversion process by 79 times. All this is done without any loss in quality. Whatsmore, if you have a laptop with Nvidia Cuda, Intel HD graphics or Nvenc graphics, this software will make use of hardware acceleration feature of your laptop or desktop and speed up conversion by another 3.5 times. After the file is converted, you can play it back locally or if you have converted for YouTube or other online streaming websites, you can upload them online.

Other great features include ability to create GIF files; capture screenshots from video files and extract audio files from videos. These audio files are playable on all smartphones. You can even set them as ringtones. Supported image formats includes APNG, BMP, DPX, GIF, JPEG (.jpeg, .jpg, .jp2, .jls), Netpbm formats (.pam, .pbm, .pgm, .ppm), PCX, PNG, PTX, SGI, TGA, TIFF, WebP, XBM and XWD.

Why windows phone 8 is strictly mediocre and why Microsoft should be worried

I have been on Windows Phone for nearly 2 years now. I still have my 2010 WP7 HTC Mozart. What brought me to this shiny new ecosystem was the UI – simple and fluid – it was clearly distinct and I made the switch from iOS and never looked back. However, I am starting to […]

Huawei, a good third alternative after Samsung and Apple?

Huawei’s been at the very edge of my radar for a few years, but since their phones aren’t compatible with Verizon’s (or previously for me, US Cellular’s) network, I haven’t considered them. There were a lot of phones I couldn’t consider last year, when I switched to Verizon. Next year, I may likely switch to […]

MSI offers light versions of its Radeon R9 380 and 390

MSI has unveiled two new models of graphics card under the nickname " Light Edition ". Specifically it is the MSI Radeon R9 380 and R9 390 Gaming , the two graphs best sales level are having to MSI AMD Radeon within the family. MSI S20 review can be read here.

Radeon R9 380 and 390 review

MSI Radeon R9 380 and R9 390 review

Both graphs will have a custom PCB for the occasion and as usual in all MSI Gaming products, will make use of components "Military Class" of the highest quality and specifically selected to have the best stability and durability. Both will also feature the famous Twin Frozr cooler V brand so successful that has given them so far. MSI GS30 shadow review can be seen here.

MSI Radeon R9 380 LE 4G Gaming specs

However, it is noteworthy that seeing the product sheets of both graphs we fail to discern what is special and why MSI has dubbed the "Light Edition" (LE). Yes we see, however, that the Radeon R9 390 LE has a TDP of 208 watts, which from our point of view is pretty good.Certainly the R9 380 will have 4 GB of VRAM while the R9 390 will have a whopping 8 GB.Here are its main features:

MSI Radeon R9 380 LE 4G Gaming specs

Core Speed: 970 MHz.
Memory Speed: 5700 Mhz.
Antigua CPU with 1792 shader processors.
4 GB of GDDR5 memory with 256-bit bus.

MSI Radeon R9 390 LE Gaming 8G specs

Core Speed: 1000 Mhz.
Memory Speed: 6000 Mhz.
Grenada 2560 Pro GPU with Shader Processors.
8 GB of GDDR5 memory with 512-bit bus.

I suppose you have to wait for its official launch for MSI show us what’s so special about these Light Edition because as we mentioned we do not find anything special that makes them really different from those in the market, but what is not doubt is that if the MSI is launching with these features is that something new will. You go figure … you’ll have to wait as long. And by the way, as always it does not know absolutely nothing about its release date or its price.

Protecting You Computer Against Malware

There are problems every computer user is going to face in their lifetime. One of the most common these days is malware. And despite how much most of us would like it to it isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. That’s an undeniable fact. However, there are a number of ways that we can protect ourselves against this rather pesky problem. By learning to identify the early warning signs and symptoms of malware, we can stop it in its track and beat it before it becomes an even bigger issue.

Protecting You Computer Against Malware

The following top-tips will allow us to ensure that no damage to the machine in question or others it comes in contact with occurs.

1.Make Use Of Malware Removal Software

This is by far the easiest and simplest method of all – and both free and paid for software is available for selection. Most anti-virus software comes bundled with tools that scan for malware, in addition to viruses and spyware. So, it’s often a wise idea to start with this. When choosing an anti malware and spyware removal program, it is advisable to look for software with real-time scanning. This ensures you are alerted at the first sign of a problem. You don’t even have to regularly perform the checks yourself – you can schedule them. There’s little reason not to have a decent malware removal application nowadays.

2.Look Out For Computer Slowdowns

The slowdown of your computer can often be a tell-tale sign that malware has found its way into your device. This can include an overall sluggishness of applications and the speed of your network connections. Though, a slowdown of your machine doesn’t necessarily mean that it has been infected with malware. There are many possible reasons why this might be, including a lack of usable memory.

It is often wise to eliminate potential problems one-by-one, in this case. This can include performing maintenance checks which include defragmenting or upgrading your RAM.If, however, after these checks have been accomplished, the problem remains then it is most likely a case of malware. In this instance, it is best to perform a deep scan with your virus software or perform a fresh install of your computer.

3.Be Wary Of Pop-Ups

These dreaded, pesky things have long been a pet peeve of many a computer user. As of late, there has been a new spike in the cases of porn-related pop-ups. Though these were typically very common in the early era of computers, they had become practically extinct, at one point. Not only are they rather embarrassing if seen by a friend, family member or colleague, but they can be rather troublesome to remove. Sometimes, it takes a case of booting the machine in safe mode to remove them entirely.

4.Change Of Homepage Or Search Results

Also a very obvious sign there’s a problem. If your browser homepage changes all of a sudden, without you’re doing, then it’s possible you’ve suffered a malware attack. Furthermore, this remains true when search results send you to unrelated links.

5.An Offline Browser

This is a slightly rarer problem and doesn’t affect as many users. However, it is still a known symptom of a malware infection. If your browser opens, but you are unable to access any website, then this is a possible sign that malware has found its way onto your system. However, it is worth checking that a proxy has not been set and that your network connection is enabled, before worrying about this one. Though, if everything else is in top shape then it is worth powering up your anti-virus software and performing a scan.

These are but five tips that might suggest you have a malware problem on your machine. This issue can of course be resolved – sometimes easier than others. If you find yourself with a particularly troublesome issue, it might be worth re-installing your device. It’s sometimes the easiest solution. However, the majority of cases can be fixed by performing maintenance through anti-virus software.

I’ve been thinking about this for a while and my prediction for this phone (or whatever it will be) is that, no, it will not run full x86 apps. At least not in the sense that you pull it out of your pocket and fire up a full-blown Windows app. No matter what people say, […]

AMD and 8 core fiasco

Bear in mind, this isn’t as deceptive at it sounds and will probably be thrown out. Bulldozer modules have two integer cores that can handle independent threads and a singe FPU core, so there are actually 12 “cores” in a 4-module chip like an FX-8350, and each Intel core actually has two “cores”. This concept […]

G.Skill DDR4 64GB RAM for laptop makes its debut

G.Skill DDR4 64GB RAM

The renowned manufacturer of memory G.Skill has announced the latest addition to its catalog, new memory modules G.Skill Ripjaws DDR4 (called so, period) in format SO-DIMM , offering them all the power of the latest technology and format memory SO-DIMM for laptops and All in One. The particularity of this new family memories G.Skill is to be offered in kits up to 64 GB (4 x 16 GB) , taking and the maximum capacity for the most demanding applications.

G.Skill DDR4 64GB RAM (2)

In reality not all users need such huge amounts of memory, but there are those who require heavy use applications that require a lot of RAM (hello, Java developers) and are limited by the capacity and especially availability memory modules SO-DIMM high-end format. For all of them, but also for more basic users, G.Skill has created this new family Ripjaws DDR4 speeds coming in 2133, 2400, 2666 and 2800 MHz and capacities ranging from 4 GB to 64 GB, in this latter divided into 4 modules of 16GB, the maximum capacity per module that support today’s modern equipment. Certainly as all RAM memories of this manufacturer have power to Auto Overclock and lifetime warranty.

It is also true that not many teams, and less laptops, has four memory sockets to install 64 GB G.Skill offers, but there are none. Of course they are very high-end equipment, but of course, who needs 64 GB of RAM in your laptop is because the tasks that need to run also require a high-end equipment, right? In any case, as G.Skill offers a wide range of speeds and capacities, all users will be covered by this new family of Ripjaws DDR4 memories, from the most basic users who do not require a lot of RAM to the professionals who need the maximum possible.

Nothing G.Skill has not said anything on the availability date of this new family, nor about its price. And we kind of thought that the 64GB kit is quite expensive, especially when so far the DDR4 memory is still quite expensive and SO-DIMMs complicated quality to find. Good news however power will now have many more options for our laptops and All in One.

AMD Zen is meeting all expectations

Engineers from AMD are quite satisfied with the performance we are providing the first samples for testing new processors with Zen core. These first tests processors are meeting all performance expectations that AMD had brought to its new architecture and added that no no significant bottlenecks in these early samples.

AMD Zen

Just this week has been quite prolific in terms of news from AMD, although relating to his section of the graphics processor. But this does not mean that things are not going well in the field, quite the contrary. The latest news to which we had access indicate that the first games of processors core Zen tests are meeting all performance expectations that have been implemented in the architecture of the new core and that things are going smoothly now, without They have been discovered large problems in these first units. Recall that in the case of unit tests, it is normal that they appear problems that engineers must solve in the design and then implement them in the units will go on sale.

AMD Zen is meeting all expectations

The main advantage that AMD is going to play with this new core is increased by 40% in the core CPI, returning this time to a much more traditional architecture we’ve seen in the current Bulldozer FX series and he was quite short in performance against its main competitor Intel, leaving users with processors that consume a lot but did not perform as well as they should. The new processor incorporated in its design the possibility of simultaneous multithreading (SMT) in their cores and an architecture that will be easy to expand in the future, adding more cores.

Also it included in the design a new cache of very low latency, which drew quite less in the design of the current generation. Some of the enhancements came to light thanks to a patch for Linux that one of the engineers AMD published last October 5 that let us see a small glimpse of the architecture of this processor.

The new Zen processor will require a new socket for installation to be called AMD4 I’ll cover both high-performance processors desk as the new FX series APUs based on this architecture that will support the new GCN. Also included is support for the new DDR4 memory controller.

SilverStone RVZ02 PC is perfect for bedroom and office

SilverStone RVZ02 review

SilverStone presents his new box RVZ02 , RVZ01 evolution of belonging to the Raven series as good boxes has given users. It is a box format HTPC slim for motherboards Mini ITX, that is, that is geared to those looking to have a computer room to play with at the same time watch movies or surf the Internet from the comfort of the chair your living room.

SilverStone RVZ02 review specs

SilverStone has always been known for not abide by the established rules and innovate in the design of their boxes. We all remember the famous Silverstone Raven RV02 and its sister, the Fortress FT02. Following this path, last year launched by surprise Silverstone Raven RVZ01 that was a revolution in the market for slim HTPC cases as a very small box where you could get without too much trouble a good desktop computer that meets the expectations of HTPC market users but in a reduced form (like a DVD player, to give you an idea) and immediately reaped very good analysis of other sites.

SilverStone RVZ02 reviews

Based on these analyzes and the opinions of its users, it has developed the new SilverStone Raven RVZ02 getting put all components of a system in a box of only 12 liters. This box has the peculiarity of being able to be used both vertically (to what SilverStone provides us four plastic feet) and horizontal.

One thing that has kept the previous SilverStone Raven RVZ01 is its ability to accommodate graphics cards with a length of 13 inches (about 330 mm) but their efforts have focused more on making something simpler assembly of components and improving the thermal efficiency within the RVZ02, creating separate chambers for the two main heat sources inside a box, which are the processor and graphics card. Both components now have their own separate cooling channels so as not to obstruct and undermine each other.

The external design has become more sober in the new Raven RVZ02 compared to what was its predecessor, which was perhaps too bold to be comfortable in a room next to a good stereo, without losing all his great personality.

In short, a box to be taken into account if we want users and HTPC mount a powerful and versatile for our classroom equipment. And it will come in two colors when it’s released, white and black.

Silentium PC M60W Aquarius has designed a minimalist box and great build quality. It is designed to accommodate high-end equipment inside regardless of the size of the installed hardware, and is in fact the manufacturer has built the chassis with steel SECC 0.8 mm thick to withstand all the weight you want.

Silentium PC ATX Aquarius M60W Review (6)

As the top model, the Aquarius M60W provides extensive support for liquid cooling systems, including three anchor points for radiators of up to 360 mm in length (in the front). It has also simplified the interior to create an aesthetic minimalist and simple to use which in turn improves the flow of air inside the box.

Silentium PC ATX Aquarius M60W Review (8)

Thus, the back of the room to the motherboard (ATX) has a huge hole to manipulate the socket and also has a cover that conceals all cables without problems. Another metal cover (not plastic as usual) covers the power supply and cables coming out of it, leaving the inside looking clean and clear, yet separating the source and the hard disks of other components to improve thermal performance.

This is a fairly wide yes box, and supports processor coolers 175 mm high, plenty of room to install even for larger air coolers (measuring up to 165 mm in height). It also provides space for graphics cards up to 410 mm in length, ATX sources of any length and there is still room to install three 3.5 inch hard disks and two 2.5-inch other, and two 5.25-inch optical drives. Acer Predator Z35 Specifications, a 35 inch gaming monitor with G Sync

Acer has announced the latest addition to its already wide range of monitors Gaming, the Predator Z35, monitor and ultra curved widescreen (aspect ratio 21: 9) 35 inches noted for its compatibility with the NVIDIA G-Sync technology.

Acer Predator Z35 Specifications

Acer has used a AMVA panel manufactured by AU Optronics, with a size of 35 inches and resolution 2560 x 1080 pixels. It may seem strange because we are used to seeing monitors 34 inches and resolution 3440 x 1440 pixels, but is that although Acer announced this monitor as having 144 Hz refresh rate, the panel is capable of providing up to 200 Hz, so Advanced users might apply "Overclock" monitor smoothly.

In any case, this Acer Predator Z35 announced as having 144 Hz refresh rate and of course 1 ms response time, since it is a Gaming oriented monitor. The refresh rate is adaptable if a graphics card NVIDIA is used by the G-Sync technology. On the other hand, it has a curvature 2000R to provide maximum immersion in games.

In addition to Predator Z35, Acer has announced the expansion of the Predator XB1 family with three new models (two of 27 inch and 28 inch). 27-inch models are called XB271HK and XB271HU, and provide what they call Zero Frame design as its edges are very thin. The first model is Ultra HD resolution (3840 x 2160 pixels) while the second has WQHD resolution (2560 x 1440 pixels). Both have an IPS panel that supports 100% of the sRGB color spectrum, and supports them XB271HU ULMB NVIDIA technology and has a refresh rate of 144 Hz. Acer Predator 15 and 17 laptops were also launched.

The 28-inch model called XB281HK. Acer has not told the panel that incorporates technology, but because it is Ultra HD resolution (3840 x 2160 pixels) and has only 1 ms response time is virtually impossible IPS it certainly is AMVA.

Acer will release the Z35 Predator in North America from the month of December at a price of $ 1199.99. In Europe it arrives during the same month at a price of 1,099 euros.

On the other hand, the Predator series XB1 come to America starting in November of $ 799.99 and Europe will come a little earlier, during the month of October at a price of 699 euros.

PowerColor Devil13 features two GPUs

Corporation TUL ( PowerColor ), which surely is the oldest of AMD partner (work together since 1997) has announced the launch of the new "Dancing Queen", the issue of dual GPU AMD Radeon Devil13 R9 390, updating and its renowned family of graphics Devil13 to the current generation of AMD cards.

PowerColor Devil13 review

As always, the PowerColor Devil13 features two GPUs, in this case two AMD Grenada (R9 390) and is designed for users looking for ultimate graphics performance on your system. Therefore, equip a whopping 16 GB of GDDR5 graphics memory running at 1350 MHz real and connected through a bus 2 x 512 bits.

Furthermore, PowerColor has high operating speed of 1000 Mhz core, but has left a huge space for the user to apply a high level of overclocking, as it has installed a massive 15-phase VRM to ensure maximum stability in addition to other technologies such as PowerColor PowerIRstage, Cap and Super Ferrite Core Choke.

Although this is a graphic that could easily be used with custom liquid cooling systems, PowerColor has included its usual cooling system for the dual GPU graphics Devil13. Thus we see a similar pattern to previous generations, with huge triple sink fan (double blade) which cool the huge block of aluminum foil that absorbs the heat generated by the two GPUs through the (almost) impossible amount of 10 copper heatpipes. Remember that this graph takes up three PCI slots.

According to PowerColor, the cooling system of Radeon R9 390 Devil13 gives users the perfect balance between performance, temperatures and silence, if it is true that so we could try us personally tend to be a fairly noisy graphics when they are subjected to load (maybe that is resolved in the current generation).

As a member of the family Devil13, PowerColor has incorporated in this chart all the latest technologies. For starters, includes a button that allows the user to easily switch between two different BIOS that come with being one of them inviolable to ensure that as much as the user touches BIOS and damaged, always have a functional from which you can repair the other.

By the way, do not we discussed, as in previous generations, this new edition of Devil13 PowerColor has red LED lighting and four PCI-Express eight-pin connectors are needed for service.

And finally, as in the previous generation PowerColor gives a mouse Razer Ouroboros with the purchase of the plot. Not yet final output price not know when it will come, but it will count upon his face.

Doogee F5 Review, flagship android phone with price of budget phone

Doogee F5 Review. The Chinese manufacturer Doogee is increasingly having more presence worldwide thanks to that reputation has taken as a result of providing good quality terminals and reduced prices . So much so that the brand has now introduced the new Doogee F5 , a terminal which they said is their hallmark, and in seeking to conquer the mid-range providing the highest quality in every detail , while maintaining the same price level.

Doogee F5 Review (2)

Doogee F5 Review: The Specifications

Doogee has chosen as typical SoC for the medium-high range of Chinese terminals, MediaTek MTK6753 eight 64-bit cores operating at a speed of 1.5 Ghz, and incorporates an ARM Mali T720 GPU which has already demonstrated a great solvency any type of 3D application for the smartphone. Accompanying this SoC find a generous 3 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage capacity can be expanded further up to 64 GB using microSD memory card.

Doogee F5 Review (1)

Doogee F5 Review: Excellent Screen

Regarding the screen, we find a 5.5-inch IPS panel and full HD resolution with OGS technology (one glass solution) that stands for many things. For starters, its density of 401 pixels per inch ensures sharp images at any distance, but it also has a range of 100% NTSC color, something very unusual for a smartphone, and 95% saturation. Of course, being an IPS panel the viewing angles are 178 degrees.

Doogee F5 Review (3)

The Doogee F5 is also a terminal that stands out for its cameras because Samsung 3M2 incorporates a 13 Megapixel sensor in the rear that act as 16 Megapixel via software. Course includes image stabilizer and LED flash. The front camera is 5 Mpx, and through software acts if 8MP as to ensure the best "selfies".

In the area of connectivity, we have the Doogee F5 is a phablet 4G supports 2G / 3G / 4G networks in most countries (including Spain. Furthermore logically is a free terminal and can be used with any operator) and also Dual SIM (two micro SIM in this case). It also has WiFi 802.11 b / g / n, Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS and fingerprint sensor located on the back of the terminal. Its battery is 3,000 mAh ensuring an autonomy of at least one day even under intense use of the device.

But the quality of Doogee F5 is not only in the domestic hardware. The manufacturer has used a metal structure solidified liquid that gives it great strength and durability to the terminal, despite its large size (which incidentally measures 15.23 x 7.69 x 0.78 cm and weighs 171 grams, although in its thinnest part ( the edges) measures just 5 mm thick).

This impressive processor have been added two modules DDR4 RAM Crucial 8GB PC4-17000 (ie, has 16 GB of RAM DDR4 system), four SSDs Toshiba 256GB Q300 Pro running in RAID 0 + 1 and course two AMD Radeon R9 Nano running in CrossFireX. Yes, because the motherboard only has one PCI-Express 3.0 socket, DGLee used a PCI-Express splitter, which has also allowed it to locate a graphic horizontally. Between the two, added 8.19 TFlops performance (they are obviously limited by the splitter), but coupled with the added processor 10 mod TFlops in this home that I have mentioned at the beginning.
